Autodesk’s Q2FY27 results.
Autodesk just reported fiscal 2027 second-quarter results (ended July 31, 2026). Here’s the fast version.
1. Beat guidance, stronger revenue and billings outlook
Revenue hit $2.05 billion (+16% YoY), non-GAAP EPS hit $3.30, and billings hit $1.85 billion (+10%). Both revenue and EPS came in above the high end of guidance. AECO, especially construction, plus strong renewals, drove the performance. Autodesk raised its full-year outlook to $8.295–$8.345B in revenue and $12.52–$12.60 in non-GAAP EPS, and raised fiscal 27 billings guidance to a range of $8.575 billion to $8.650 billion.
2. The AI future: context beats any single model
“The future of AI for the built world won’t belong to the company with the best single model,” said CEO Andrew Anagnost. “It will belong to the platform that combines the richest context with the right models.” Autodesk’s pitch: decades of industry data plus project intelligence across lifecycle context—design, make, operate—that no single AI model has on its own.
3. MaintainX is officially in the fold
The acquisition closed August 3. MaintainX now anchors a new Autodesk Operations Solutions business, extending Autodesk one step further across the asset lifecycle—from design and make into operate.
4. Another proof point: a top retailer bets on Forma + Tandem
One of the world’s largest retailers picked Autodesk Forma and Autodesk Tandem to connect planning, design, construction, and operations—and build a real digital twin—across its North American portfolio.
