Amy Bunszel, EVP of Architecture, Engineering and Construction Solutions at Autodesk, has shared her plans to retire following more than 23 years with the company.

“Amy has helped shape Autodesk into the company we are today,” said Andrew Anagnost, President and CEO of Autodesk. “Her vision, deep commitment to our customers, and leadership through some of our most important transformations have built a world-class AEC business and an enduring legacy. She leaves behind an exceptional team and an AEC business in a position of strength, and I’m deeply grateful for her partnership and everything she has contributed to Autodesk.”  Bunszel joined Autodesk in 2003 following the acquisition of Linius Technologies, a CAD software company she co-founded. Over the course of her career at Autodesk, she has held leadership roles spanning product development, product and industry strategy, and ultimately taking on leadership of Autodesk’s AEC business.  “After more than two decades at Autodesk, I’m ready for what comes next,” said Bunszel. “What I’ll value most about my time here are the people I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside and the customers who have continually challenged us to do better. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built together, and I’m excited about what’s ahead for Autodesk and the AEC industry. There is still work to do, and I’m committed to helping ensure the next leader has everything they need to build on that momentum.”  Bunszel will continue to lead the AEC business while Autodesk conducts a search for her successor and will remain through the leadership transition.
