What’s better than a brand new computer? How about a brand new computer with a pre-installed copy of AutoCAD LT 2014 2D CAD drafting software?
That’s the idea behind the Lenovo ThinkStation E32, an entry-level workstation that comes pre-loaded with a 60-day trial of AutoCAD LT. The hardware/software combo makes the ThinkStation E32 an ideal choice for design and engineering professionals looking to quickly and easily create professional 2D drawings.
“Modeling and design work can be extremely time intensive. Many design revisions and iterations take place, with data running in the background, to get to a final product,” says Rob Herman, director of Product and Vertical Marketing, ThinkStation business unit, Lenovo. “The ThinkStation E32 is a design workhorse, giving users workstation level performance and effortless productivity on a PC-sized budget.”
Available as either a mini-tower or a small form factor, the ThinkStation E32 packs powerful performance and reliability into an affordably priced package. Both ThinkStation E32 models are available with Intel Xeon® E3 and up to 4th generation Intel Core i7 processors, as well as enhanced memory and graphics capabilities.
Meanwhile, AutoCAD LT 2014 streamlines design workflow and increases drafting productivity through new features such as intelligent command lines that autocorrect and provide suggestions for common commands, and associative arrays that make it easy to change the spacing of multiple objects at a time.
“Having AutoCAD LT pre-loaded on the ThinkStation E32 allows users to tap into high-level compute power for their design and documentation needs as soon as they take it out of the box,” said Sheila Parker Tolle, senior director of ecommerce and small business marketing at Autodesk. “This gives users a highly efficient platform for producing, editing, and sharing precise 2D CAD drawings.”
The ThinkStation E32 tower model and SFF will be available starting September 6, 2013 and can be purchased through Lenovo business partners and on www.lenovo.com.
