Line//Shape//Space Named 2014 Webby Award Honoree

Have you checked out Line//Shape//Space? It’s a one-year-old Autodesk website focused on helping small-business designers, drafters, and animators be successful. Whether it’s product tips and tricks or learning how to manage finances, there are numerous resources to help small businesses overcome challenges and ultimately flourish.

We think it’s a pretty great place to bring the small-business design community together, and the good news is that others think so, too. We’re excited to announce that Line//Shape//Space has just been named a Webby Award Honoree in the Business Blog category of the 18th Annual Webby Awards.

Hailed as the "Internet's highest honor" by The New York Times, The Webby Awards, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet. The IADAS, which nominates and selects The Webby Award Winners, is comprised of web industry experts, including media mogul Arianna Huffington, Skype CEO Tony Bates, co-founder of Instagram Kevin Systrom, Martha Stewart, Huffington Post Media Group President Arianna Huffington, Twitter co-founder Biz Stone, musician David Bowie, and Virgin Group Chairman Richard Branson.

"It's such an honor to be acknowledged by the Webby Awards—the holy grail of all things amazing on the web,” explains Dusty DiMercurio, Autodesk’s Head of Small Business Marketing. "The feedback we’ve gotten from Autodesk’s small businesses community since launching the site a little over a year ago has been just phenomenal. And now, to be honored in this way—alongside some of our favorite business blogs, like TechCrunch, The Atlantic Business, and BlackBerry—is incredibly inspiring. It really helps add fuel to our purpose of being a helpful resource for the amazing small businesses that inspire us daily."
