Autodesk Construction Cloud to join Autodesk Forma on March 24

Autodesk Forma brings together design and construction workflows in a connected industry cloud, built on Autodesk Platform Services and a shared data foundation.

At AU25, we shared our vision for Autodesk Forma as the first end-to-end, cloud-based, AI-native platform designed to connect the people, data, and workflows that shape the built environment. On March 24, we will take the next step in that journey. Autodesk Construction Cloud will become part of Autodesk Forma, bringing design and construction together under a single industry cloud.

This evolution reinforces our long-term strategy: uniting teams across the project lifecycle in a more connected, continuous environment.

What’s changing, and what’s not

As Autodesk Construction Cloud joins Autodesk Forma, product naming will evolve to reflect its place within the Forma industry cloud. For example:

  • Autodesk Docs -> Forma Data Management
  • Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro -> Forma Design Collaboration
  • Autodesk Build -> Forma Build
  • Autodesk Takeoff -> Forma Takeoff

These updates will begin appearing across product experiences and Autodesk web properties starting March 24.

Just as important is what is not changing.

This is a brand and platform evolution, not a disruption. There is no data migration required. Existing workflows, APIs, integrations, licensing, login experiences, and customer data will remain intact. The tools our customers rely on today will continue to deliver the same capabilities and performance.

Advancing Autodesk Forma

Bringing Autodesk Construction Cloud into Autodesk Forma establishes Forma Data Management as the common data environment, connecting information from planning and design through construction and operations.

This is how we reduce fragmentation and enable more confident decision-making across the AECO project lifecycle.

Looking ahead to March 24

In the weeks ahead, we will continue providing resources to support customers through this transition.

Our commitment remains unchanged: delivering connected, intelligent workflows that help our customers to design and build with greater clarity, collaboration, and confidence. And we’re just getting started.
