And the Emmy Award Goes to…Shotgun Software, an Autodesk Company

Categories: Film and television People & Culture

Last night was an incredible night for Shotgun. Why? The platform you’ve helped us build was honored with a 2017 Engineering Emmy from the Television Academy at the Loews Hollywood Hotel.

Shotgun Software started more than a decade ago as an idea. What began as a vision to create a collaborative platform to help global teams get their best work on screen, quickly became so much more. We’ve grown a lot over the years with the help of our clients, the Shotgun crew you know and love, and Autodesk. Since launching, together we’ve brought more 1,000 companies tools that connect creative workflows, global teams and studios working on TV shows, films and other creative projects.

A big thanks goes out to our customers, who continue to raise the bar in the quality of content people like me and my family enjoy from Game of Thrones to The Americans, Quantico, Ballers, Scandal, Outlander, Black Mirror, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Cosmos, Legion, Fear the Walking Dead, The Flash and Hawaii 5-0. We wouldn’t be where we are today without you.

And congrats to the six other individuals, companies and organizations recognized last night. Your work is inspiring.

Lastly, shout out to our amazing team who continues to bring cool new tools to our customers. I couldn’t be prouder of our efforts and can’t wait to see what the future holds.
