Allison Rose

Allison Rose is senior director, government affairs and public policy at Autodesk. Allison is an experienced legislative and policy expert with 15 years engaging federal, state and local governments in the United States. Since 2019, she has led Autodesk’s U.S. state and local government engagement and policy program and coordinates the company’s global sustainability and workforce public policy strategy. Autodesk is a global leader in Design and Make technology for the architecture, engineering, construction, design, manufacturing, and media and entertainment industries. In this role, she launched the company’s state and local government affairs practice. Allison has developed policy positions and legislative and regulatory strategy in privacy and AI, infrastructure development, sustainability, and workforce issues. She knows how bridging public policy and business can make more effective policy and ultimately shape a better world.
Prior to joining Autodesk, Allison spent years in the healthcare policy and advocacy space. She also served as legislative staff for two California Members of Congress in the U.S. House of Representatives for nearly a decade. She holds B.A.s in International Relations and History from Stanford University and lives in Oakland, California.
