+++ Today iOFFICE + SpaceIQ announces an investment by Autodesk which recognizes our shared vision to bring together Building Information Modeling and facilities management for more efficient, flexible, and responsive operations and maintenance of buildings and infrastructure. As the announcement notes, this investment is another strategic step in Autodesk\u2019s efforts to bring BIM, and digital twin technologies, including Autodesk Tandem, to the full project lifecycle from design through operations and maintenance. Terms of the investment were not disclosed. The pandemic has heightened focus on maximizing value and increasing efficiency of facilities, with executives reporting cost reduction as their top real estate priority in a recent survey by analyst firm Verdantix. However, occupancy and operations workflows are often fragmented, making it difficult to leverage data from siloed systems.
