The acquisition will enhance Autodesk\u2019s current offerings for structural engineering and expand its portfolio of technology for\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/cts.businesswire.com\/ct\/CT?id=smartlink&amp;url=http%3A%2F%2Fusa.autodesk.com%2Fbuilding-information-modeling%2F&amp;esheet=50720830&amp;newsitemid=20131002005557&amp;lan=en-US&amp;anchor=Building+Information+Modeling&amp;index=2&amp;md5=c36d1e7d564aea16642fd452fc570ad5\" rel=\"nofollow\">Building Information Modeling<\/a>\u00a0(BIM) for structural fabrication and detailing. Through the proposed acquisition, Autodesk will continue to lead the industry\u2019s migration to BIM and evolution of model-based workflows for structural engineers, detailers, fabricators and contractors who provide modeling, analysis, detailing, and production services. The transaction is expected to close in the 4th quarter of fiscal year 2014 and is subject to customary closing conditions.
