Autodesk\u00a0announced its intent<\/a>\u00a0to acquire Delcam on November 7, 2013 for \u00a320.75 per share or approximately \u00a3172.5 million (~USD $286 Million), using non-U.S.-based cash. Delcam will operate as a wholly owned, independently operated subsidiary of Autodesk, with no\u00a0significant\u00a0changes planned for Delcam\u2019s business. \u201cAutodesk brings to\u00a0Delcam increased financial strength,\u00a0unparalleled expertise in design, and a long history of making technology accessible to broad audiences.
