Autodesk Extends 2:1 Multi-User Trade-In Eligibility to Future Renewals <\/span><\/b><\/h3>\n

Updated February 22, 2022<\/em> We are turning a corner on the pandemic, and many of our customers are more prepared to transition to named\u00a0user.\u00a0<\/span>As a follow-up to the extended timeline we announced in <\/span>November<\/span>, we\u00a0are making changes to provide customers\u00a0more\u00a0flexibility to successfully make the\u00a0<\/span>transition.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Starting February 25, 2021, we will provide customers the option to take advantage of the multi-user trade-in offer at their first and all future renewals between August 7, 2020 and until February 7, 2024.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span> \"\"<\/span> <\/p>\n

Multi-User Retirement and\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Flexible Solutions<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

As companies around the world continue to face challenges associated with coronavirus (COVID-19), we\u2019ve witnessed the impact it\u2019s having on our customers and the industries we serve firsthand. In March<\/a>, we moved the retirement of multi-user subscription renewals to August 7, 2021, and delayed the launch of the multi-user trade-in offer to August 7, 2020. We did not want to introduce change when business-as-usual was hard enough. Fast forward to today, and a majority of eligible customers have taken advantage of the trade-in offer<\/strong>. The benefits of a cloud-based license have proven especially valuable during the pandemic. The shift to named users has made it easier for customers to work remotely, optimize costs based on usage data, and improve collaboration. That said, we are still in the throes of the pandemic, and some customers have told us change remains difficult. To support those customers, and anyone else who needs more time, we are extending multi-user subscription renewals to February 7, 2023<\/strong>. In addition, starting February 25, 2021*, we will also provide customers the option to take advantage of the multi-user trade-in offer<\/a> at their first and all future renewals between August 7, 2020 and February 7, 2024.<\/strong> Our hope is the added time will help some customers, including governments and education institutions, manage through the next stage of coronavirus. We know many customers with multi-user subscriptions are governments and we want to ensure they have continued access to solutions that meet their unique needs. Meanwhile, in our ongoing drive to provide customers with flexible purchasing options that align value with usage, we are accelerating efforts to introduce a cloud-based license solution for occasional users<\/strong>. Some customers have shared that they have users who only require access to products a few days per month. We\u2019ve listened and have been offering early access to flexible license models over the past year. In September 2021, we built off the success of those pilots and\u00a0introduced a flexible solution for occasional users called Autodesk Flex<\/a>. <\/p>\n
