Candidates can demonstrate their proficiencies through the Pearson & Certiport authorized testing network. At Autodesk, we’ve long believed that expanding access to education and technical training is critical to building the workforce of the future. We invest in students, educators, and lifelong learners through software access, certifications, and programs designed to help people build practical skills for modern design and make careers. Supporting veterans as they transition into civilian careers is an important extension of that commitment. Starting a new career after military service can be both exciting and challenging. Many veterans already have deep technical, operational, and leadership experience, but translating those skills into credentials civilian employers immediately recognize is not always straightforward. Certifications can help bridge that gap by validating technical skills and helping candidates stand out in industries that increasingly rely on digital design and manufacturing skills. More than 900,000 veterans and dependents use GI Bill ® education benefits each year, representing more than $10 billion in annual federal investment in education and workforce training, according to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. At the same time, 55% report they plan to pursue careers outside their military specialty after leaving active duty, according to a survey by the Institute for Veterans and Military Families at Syracuse University, increasing the importance of accessible training. By enabling GI Bill® reimbursement for Autodesk certification exams, Autodesk aims to reduce cost barriers and help veterans pursue careers in design and make industries. Autodesk worked with Pearson and Certiport to submit Autodesk certification programs for inclusion in the VA Certification Finder. Eligible candidates can purchase an exam voucher, complete the certification exam and submit documentation to request reimbursement under veteran education and training benefits.

Veterans and families can now use GI Bill benefits to seek reimbursement for Autodesk exams.
