  Connecting our customers\u2019 tools, processes, and people is critical for helping them to get more value out of their Building Information Modeling (BIM) data. This not only helps realize better ways of working; it also produces better outcomes for business and the built environment.<\/span><\/span> BIM is the foundation of digital transformation in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.\u202f<\/span>That\u2019s<\/span> why <\/span>we\u2019re<\/span> so intently focused on building an AEC cloud information model that makes project data available to the right people at the right time with insights that deliver competitive advantage.<\/span><\/span> But as we strive toward fulfilling our industry cloud vision, <\/span>we\u2019re<\/span> also doing everything we can to meet the demands of our building design customers here and now. <\/span>That\u2019s<\/span> why <\/span>I\u2019m<\/span> so excited to share that Autodesk has signed a definitive agreement to <\/span>acquire<\/span> UNIFI<\/a>, an essential cloud software solution for organizing, accessing, and managing content in Revit, Civil 3D, Plant 3D and other digital design tools. Currently, coordinating content <\/span>across multiple projects is often a manual process and might even be a full-time job. With the digital asset management capabilities of UNIFI, our customers will be able to find, search, and load BIM content faster, <\/span>anytime,<\/span> and anywhere.<\/span><\/span> When the acquisition is completed, existing UNIFI customers will <\/span>retain<\/span> full product access and support as we work on integration. <\/span>I\u2019m equally excited about what this acquisition means for Autodesk customers <\/span>in the near future<\/span>.<\/span> UNIFI will add value to our current offerings and enable customers across the globe to get more value out of their BIM data. Being able to better manage their project assets is <\/span>an important step<\/span> in digital transformation. Peering ahead, UNIFI\u2019s underlying technology will <\/span>provide<\/span> a key AEC data capability that will transform the way our customers work by connecting their data and <\/span>providing<\/span> the insights they need at every phase of the project lifecycle.<\/span><\/span> With this addition, <\/span>we\u2019ll<\/span> help our customers win both today and tomorrow.<\/span><\/span> Autodesk\u2019s acquisition of UNIFI has not been completed; the completion of the acquisition is uncertain and is subject to various closing conditions. Subject to the <\/span>timely<\/span> completion or waiver of the applicable closing conditions, Autodesk expects the acquisition to close either during Autodesk\u2019s first quarter of Fiscal Year 2024, ending April 30, 2023, or during Autodesk\u2019s second quarter of Fiscal Year 2024, ending July 31, 2023. The foregoing descriptions of the contemplated effects of the acquisition are subject to the acquisition\u2019s completion and Autodesk\u2019s ability to successfully integrate UNIFI in all respects.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
